Rogue Performance is an engineering-led motorcycle performance parts company. Every part starts as a problem to solve, not a shape to copy. We model it, simulate it, test the material it's made from, and only release it when the numbers support it.
1. Simulation-first design
We start from the stock part and ask where it's losing. Then we reshape it and test every revision in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) before anything is manufactured. We keep the design with the lowest loss and discard the rest.
- In-house CFD tools. Our simulation and analysis pipeline is written in-house in Python. We control every setting, from mesh to boundary conditions, and can run as many design variations as a part needs.
- Simulated flow bench. We recreate the conditions of a physical flow bench in simulation so stock and Rogue designs are compared under identical test conditions.
- Real-world conditions, not just straight-on air. Air inside an airbox doesn't arrive head-on, so we simulate flow approaching from multiple directions.
2. Material research
A part is only as good as what it's made from. Heat, fuel vapor, vibration and stiffness all matter on a motorcycle, so we test materials before we commit to them.
- We've evaluated engineering polymers such as PETG alongside a range of carbon-fiber composites: PLA-CF, PETG-CF, PET-CF, ASA-CF, PA12-CF (carbon-fiber nylon) and PPS-CF.
- Each part gets the material suited to the job. Our Yamaha YZF-R6 stacks, for example, are made in carbon-fiber nylon.
- When a better material earns its place, we switch.
3. Designed for your bike
We design around a specific motorcycle, not a universal fit. Airbox clearance, mounting points and the stock intake geometry shape every decision. When a bike's airbox leaves no room for a taller stack, we design around the constraint instead of ignoring it.
4. We show our work
Where we make a performance statement, we publish the comparison against the stock part and say how it was measured. Product pages carry the results.
More than intake parts
Velocity stacks are where we started, not where we stop. Rogue Performance designs and builds a wide range of high-performance motorcycle parts, from brackets and CNC-machined components to track-focused racing parts and one-off custom work, all developed with the same process.
